San Francisco is among the most popular nightlife spots in the United States. The city boasts everything from ballets and opera to Irish pubs, hipster hangouts, piano bars, live music, cabaret, theatres, and more.

If you are looking to conduct a little business, The Mandarin Lounge is a great spot – offering a hotel haven for private conversation and great mixed drinks. Other popular places where you can enjoy the San Francisco nightlife include: The North Beach, consisting of many strip clubs and historic beatnik bars. Fisherman’s Wharf is the best place for nocturnal hangouts such as the Buena Vista and Knuckles Historical Sports Bar and Grill. Financial District, Civic Center, Union Square, Marina District, Mission District, Russian District, Marin County and The Castro are all other nice place to visit and are bustling during the night.

The city bay also offers plenty of fun in the water – including dinner dance cruises.
